Indian Head Massage Workshop with Ros Barresi

Indian Head Massage (also known as “champissage”) was brought to the UK over thirty years ago by Narendra Mehta, an osteopath who was visually impaired. He taught this traditional modality all over the UK and it soon became very popular. It was originally practiced by women in India in order to take care of their hair. Grandmothers passed it down daughters and it continued to be passed down the generational line. Learn to practice this wonderful therapy for the benefit of friends and family or add it to your professional skills.

About Ros:
Ros first qualified as a massage therapist in 1999, then moved into sports and remedial massage in 2002.  Later on she added on qualifications in reflexology, Indian head massage and auricular acupuncture. She has been working as a therapist for various organisations, treatment and recovery centres and is currently studying to become a nutritionist. Find out more about Ros here.
