Sankalpa: Intentions Workshop with Rachel James

As we approach the end of the 2024 and look forward to the beginning of 2025, this is the time to think about your intentions for the coming year. In this workshop you will be guided through a  practice designed to help you manifest your intentions. Perhaps you have a project, a lifestyle change or a goal that this practice will help you realise.

We will review the previous year and give thanks for the things that went well. Gratitude is the secret to abundance. Then we will talk about the ‘Sankalpa’ which you will set yourself and work with throughout the workshop. We will dive deeply into the Pancha Maya Koshas (the 5 layers of the Self) to assess where there maybe tension to achieving your goals. There may be mental emotional spiritual or physical resistance. The movement part of the session will help you get a sense of embodying your intention. There will several different breathwork and mantra practices that will aim to strengthen your resolve. We will explore mudras to reinforce your Sankalpa. At the end of the workshop there will be a full Yoga Nidra practice to ensure you manifest your intention.

No previous experience is required to attend this workshop. Everyone is welcome. And please join Rachel for Tea and cake at the end of the workshop in the Vishuddha social area!
