In this half-day retreat Gill will take you through several practices and offer mindfulness tools to promote better sleep:
“Morning’ / ‘day time’ practice: movement to energise, nourish and replenish especially helpful after an interrupted night’s sleep
Yoga nidra meditation, sleep of the yogis: a deeply restorative meditation for supporting sleep (practiced lying down)
Mindfulness tools and reframing sleep / sleep hygiene tools and recommendations
‘Evening practice’: gentle, softening and releasing the tensions of the day movement practice to support sleep pressure and calming breathing tools to regulate the nervous system
Progressive muscle relaxation body scan meditation for supporting sleep pressure

Recordings of the practices and other resources will be shared so participants can continue exploring what works best for them at home .There will be a tea break with homemade treats.
