Cacao, Slow Flow and Sound Bath with Anna Oldfield

Enjoy a heart warming cacao drink, slow flow yoga sequence and seasonal guided meditation, then relax back as you're bathed in vibrations from gongs, singing bowls and chimes. This workshop will offer you the opportunity to explore the deep meditative states and dream-like spaces which open to us when we are bathed in sound vibrations.

Sharing a warming cacao drink at the start of the session offers us a nice ritual to transition out of our every day lives, and gives us time to focus on our senses. The cacao itself improves blood circulation to the heart and brain, keeping us alert as we relax into the experience.

Many people find that being immersed in the soundscapes created by the gongs, singing bowls and other percussive instruments helps to quieten the chatter of the mind so they can achieve deep states of rest. Some find that the brain enters a creative state where they gain new perspectives or find solutions; others find a meditative peacefulness.

Participants usually choose to lie down, but can also remain seated whilst they are bathed in sound vibrations. No prior experience is necessary and you are welcome to contact me with any questions about the venue or the practice.
