In this workshop, we explore the somatic qualities of benevolence and reciprocity - how we move through life with intention, expand into our potential, and set clear boundaries to support growth without losing our temper when we meet obstacles or dissent on on our path. Inspired by the Liver and Gallbladder meridians in Chinese Medicine, we will work with practices that embody elongation, expansion, and the creation of space for renewal and possibility.
Through Yoga, Somatics, and Meridian stretches, we will:
Cultivate a sense of spaciousness in the body and mind
Explore the dynamic balance between flexibility and structure, growth and resistance
Connect with the energetic qualities of the Liver and Gallbladder to support planning, decision-making and alignment with the flow and challenges of life
Establish boundaries and reciprocal relationships that promote resilience and self-expression
This workshop offers an opportunity to align with spring's energy of renewal, our capacity for growth, smooth movement, and harmony.
There will be hot drinks and light snacks in the Vishuddha social area half-way through the workshop.
