Where does the Sanskrit language come from and how does it relate to English and other Indo-European languages? What are its distinctive features? How do you transliterate and pronounce Urdva Dhanurasana, Vasisthasana, Sutra, Ajna or Shanti correctly? These are some of the themes to be explored in this 2 hour interactive talk with Joe Burn.
Joe started yoga in 1990 and gave his first public class, in Oxford, in 1993. He is an Iyengar yoga practitioner and has studied at the Iyengar Yoga Institute in Pune on a number of occasions.
